Word(s) That Are Used Too Often

<a href="https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/toxic/">Toxic</a>

Not too long ago, a news clip spotlighted new words, that are used too often and many new slang words, were added “to the dictionary.” I vote for the word “toxic,” as being, an “overused”word, many times used in the wrong context.

I have heard the phrase “toxic people.” She is “toxic.” When I hear a description like that, I immediately think of the person as bad news, Stay Away From!

But that is not fair, because the speaker using “toxic,” was no doubt, unfamiliar with acceptable adjectives: mean, hateful, etc. Using “toxic” is just too much, and should be, reserved for special situations.
